Episode Summary

There’s no denying that AI has significantly changed our lives. In this episode, we chat with Emily Ominsky, Asset Curator on the Responsible AI team at Accenture, about what is Responsible AI and what does it mean for the future of work? Emily explores how AI has evolved and its relationship with ethics.

Show Notes:

  1. Increasing digital literacy has led to the widespread adoption of AI in recent times.
  2. Responsible AI is designing, developing, and deploying AI with good intentions that allow companies and individuals to gain trust and scale their operations.
  3. AI will do what it is designed to do and ‘artificial stupidity is often confused with AI causing more harm than good.
  4. As we interact with AI decision-making systems, we must understand that there is increased monitoring and surveillance that we need to be accustomed to and that we must let go of autonomy at some level if the machine is allowed to function fully.

(This episode is hosted by Haseeb Khan, Director Innovation & Technology, Tkxel.)
